The people of Liverpool are being invited to make their mark on the Cathedral – by having their name, an important date or message engraved on a brick in The People’s Path.

The Cathedral is working in partnership with St Bride’s Church, St Luke’s in the City and other faith communities to set up a city centre Food Bank. The Cathedral will support the administration of the Food Bank and act as a depository for the food which will be distributed from churches around the city centre.

Our popular Thursday Night Twilight Tower openings are back with the season running until October. And as last year there's a series of special events and activities throughout the season.

The 2013 competition allows photographers to showcase even more of their work and brings in the added challenge of choosing contrasting images to suit this year's theme - Liverpool: City of Contrasts. It is believed to be the first photography competition in the North West to ask photographers to submit two pieces of work as one entry.
