Open Table Liverpool and Liverpool Cathedral are joining forces to host a reflective Post-Pride service in the Lady Chapel.
The Annual Pride Festival returns to Liverpool this month which celebrates the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people and the contribution they make to our city region. This year’s festival theme is Come As You Are. After a hectic weekend at events across the city, you’re invited to do just that and come as you are for a reflective service as we honour all the messages of love and thanks, wishes and prayers which people share on 'prayer flags' at the Open Table Liverpool community stall.
Everyone is welcome - bring a friend.
Open Table is an ecumenical Christian worship community which offers a warm welcome to people who are: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer / Questioning, Intersex, Asexual (LGBTQIA) and all who seek an inclusive Church. Starting with just six people in Liverpool in 2008, it has grown into a thriving community which meets twice a month at St Bride's Liverpool and has multiplied across England and Wales.
