Martin has extensive experience photographing the Cathedral and will show you how to:
- compose your pictures
- use natural light effectively
- experiment with depth of field
- effective use of angles in shot selection.

Martin started his working career as a trainee photographer at The Bolton Evening News in the 1970s. He soon gained a reputation for his creative style of work, winning many awards.
In the 1990s Martin moved to the Liverpool Echo and Daily Post, becoming one of the country’s top award-winning press photographers, going on to win the prestigious British Photographer of the Year award.
The course begins at 10:00 am with an informal introduction and morning tea or coffee followed by a full practical session until 1 pm.
