For Liverpool Cathedral, Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year and it appears that for other Church of England cathedrals it’s pretty busy too.
Take your pick of these highlights from our Christmas events that are especially enjoyable for families and children.
On Sunday 11th November 2018, it will be 100 years since WW1 came to an end at 11:00 am when Britain, France and Germany signed the Armistice.
Our congratulations to Canon Paul whose move was announced at our Cathedral services on Sunday.
We are proud to announce that one of our own Choristers from Liverpool Cathedral has won a place in the BBC Chorister of the year final, taking place on the 20th October 2018.
Our congratulations to Richard who's move was announced in our services yesterday.
A new initiative for parents and children under five will be introduced as part of the musical offering at Liverpool Cathedral.
We are hosting the filming of a major drama on Friday October 5th. The Cathedral will be unavailable to general visitors.
From the 11th September to 7th October, Liverpool Cathedral will conclude it's series of exhibitions to commemorate the Centenary of the First World War.
The main entrance and exit will be closed on 23 August as the platform for this year’s Cathedral Abseil, held on Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Saturday 18th August is dismantled.
