The biannual Cathedral walk has taken on a new dimension for 2016 as we celebrate a Pentecost Pageant along the whole of Hope Street as for the first time both Cathedrals team up with the city council and Visit Hope Street Community Interest Company.
The Cathedral plays host to 2 debates on this subject, one in support of remaining and one in support of leaving. The first was held on Friday 1st April when keynote speaker Frank Field MP spoke in support of our exit.

Liverpool Cathedral received £275,000 from the First WW1 centenary cathedral repairs fund back in November 2014. The award has been used to finance much needed repair work to the Lady Chapel and Nave roofs.
