We are approximately half way through this term's study, but you are still warmly invited to join us each Sunday morning for an in-depth study of the Bible as part of the celebration of the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible.
The study takes place before the main Sunday service each week. We began with Genesis and are progressing steadily through each of the books week on week. The study is led by Canon Dr Jules Gomes. The study is structured so that coming in part way through a 'term' is not a problem.
‘England has two books, the Bible and Shakespeare. England made Shakespeare, but the Bible made England.’ (Victor Hugo)
The in-depth bible study includes
• Cutting edge biblical scholarship
• Practical application to daily discipleship
• Challenging insights into today’s culture
• Based on the Hebrew and Greek texts
The studies will fall into three main periods as follows - we are now in Block 3)

• Block 2 (completed) (11th Sept – 27th Nov 2011)
