Liverpool Cathedral has launched a brand new free app for visitors and worshippers to stay up to date with events and activities.
The app which works with both the iphone and ipad gives a platform for us to add more value to the cathedral’s communications.
The app has been designed by Glow New Media who revamped the cathedral website 2 years prompting a diametric shift in the way the cathedral approaches communications. Since then we have become a prolific user of social media and digital technology and are increasingly looking to new ways to interact with our worshippers and visitors.
The cathedral plans to establish the app before looking at the range of other uses it could be put towards. The aim is to provide high quality information matched with an ability to add value to someone’s experience when encountering the cathedral.
