Campaign Focus
The Centenary Fund has been a core element of the Chapter's development plans since 2003. During that time the Tower lifts have been replaced, a new Education Centre opened, significant progress has been made in re-pointing higher levels of the Cathedral Tower over 2 summers, the Tower roof has been repaired, the Derby and War Memorial transept roofs have been repaired and new asphalt laid, the stairways within the Tower have been repaired and most significantly, the Visitor Centre project has been completed and partly funded by over £900,000 of funds from the Centenary Fund to date.
