Aims and Objectives
The overall objective of Liverpool Cathedral Centenary Fund is the furtherance of religious and charitable work of the Anglican Cathedral Church of Christ in Liverpool. This objective gave shape to Liverpool Cathedral’s £10 million Development Campaign, which was launched at our Centenary Celebrations in 2004.
The Development Campaign encapsulates various important aspects of Cathedral life, including Visitors, Mission, Music, Fabric and Precinct.
The Fund has provided the Chapter with almost £1m funding, to date, of which significant amounts have been spent on the Education Centre and currently on the Visitors Centre.
This exciting project will help ensure that even more worshippers, visitors, pilgrims, clients and tourists can share in enjoying this wonderful Cathedral and our commitment to Mission will remain.
