About the Centre

Liverpool Cathedral welcomes thousands of children and young adults each year who come either on school visits or with their friends and family. In this section you can find out the following information;

The Centre is situated at the rear end of the Cathedral (East End) and provides a focal point for planning and activity for the education initiative; it is a key element of the Cathedral’s ministry.

The Department’s aim is to enable visitors, of whatever age, ability, interest or religion, to have an informed experience of the purpose, life and work of the Cathedral.
