1. The bells in the cathedral weigh thirty tons altogether – about the same as six African elephants.

2. The cathedral Grand Organ can produce 120 decibels, the same as the horn of an express train going off just ten metres away from you!

3. The length of the cathedral is 189 metres (206 yards), the length of two soccer pitches laid end to end.

4. The tallest pipe in the cathedral organ is 32 feet, about the height of two double-decker buses one on top of the other.
