Booking a Visit

You can telephone the Education Office to make an enquiry about a visit during office hours by calling 0151 702 7210. If you prefer you can email the Education Office at education@liverpoolcathedral.org.uk or you can fill in an enquiry form online below.

Who will be visiting?



DFES recommended ratios are required. A ratio of 1 adult to 6 children is requested for Key Stage 1 groups; 1 adult to 10 children for key stage 2 groups; 1 adult to 20 secondary schools (under 16's); college groups over 18 years 1 tutor per group.

Guided Tours

Tours cost £1 per child and take 1 hour but can be adapted by arrangement.

Guides will take a maximum of 25 children per tour.

The guides give their times as volunteers. Please respect their commitment to your visit by being punctual. If you are delayed please contact us.

Lunch Room

The lunchroom is available to hire for 30-40 minute sittings. We have 2 classrooms available for lunch. Each room can seat up to 28 children accompanied by 2 adults per sitting.

Special Needs/Requests

To help us support your visit please inform us of any medical conditions or special needs within visiting groups.

Please note

This form is only a provisional booking. On receipt of this booking form your visit will be confirmed in writing by the Educational Department. You will also be sent a detailed form, please complete and return with 7 days.
