Poetry workshops with Jan Dean a poet, children's writer and Reader at St Bart's in Wilmslow. Jan is an experienced writer-in-schools and has worked with
all age groups. Her poems are published all over the place. She's in lots of anthologies and her last collection Wallpapering the Cat (Macmillan) was chosen by the Poetry Book Society (Children's Poetry Bookshelf) as BEST SINGLE POET COLLECTION for Spring 2003. Come and let your talents shine as you try out the techniques of silk painting using the visual theme of hearts. God has given us all gifts, what is hidden in
your heart? There will also be an opportunity to contribute to new silk hangings for the children's chapel on the theme of The Gift of Love. Booking essential 12 max per session. £2.50 per child. Refreshments for workshops provided. Adults - Tea/Coffee Children - Orange juice and a cake.
