Embroidery Gallery

Entrance to the Elizabeth Hoare Embroidery Gallery is included in the price of the Tower Experience. It is located in the Triforium – a large, internal Gallery at the west end of the cathedral, 100+ feet/over 30m above the cathedral floor level and accessed direct from the first stage lift in the tower. Here you can safely enjoy not only fantastic views of the interior of the cathedral itself from a great height, but also the exquisite and unique collection of Victorian and Edwardian ecclesiastical embroidery on display. For those whose passion is embroidery, both modern and traditional, the collection can also be seen as part of a special Embroidery Trail at 8 venues throughout Liverpool and the Wirral. Information on this can be obtained from Tourist Information centres in Liverpool & the Wirral.
