Royal School of Church Music Celebration Day Service

The Royal School of Church Music is holding its annual Celebration Day in Liverpool this year, at the Anglican Cathedral on Saturday 17^th May.  A massed choir of over 500 singers from RSCM-affiliated choirs will be taking part, along with the cathedral choirs of the Anglican and Metropolitan Cathedrals, conducted by Brian Kay.  All are welcome to join the congregation for the service, which begins at 4.00pm.    

Music to be sung during the service ranges from Bach to Graham Kendrick, and includes a new piece by Dr Noel Rawsthorne, formerly organist at Liverpool Cathedral.  Honorary Awards will also be presented to church musicians, inluding Graham Kendrick and Professor Ian Tracey, Organist Titulaire of Liverpool Cathedral.
