New Visitor Centre Wins Award

Liverpool Cathedral's new visitor facilities won the much coveted 'Liverpool Best Practice' Award at the 2008 North West Regional Construction Awards, held at the newly-opened BT Convention Centre on Thursday 15th May.  Highlighted for particular comment were the innovative design, improvements to the visitor experience and the ways in which new construction and design were used whilst retaining traditional features.  The main contractors on this award-winning project were Mansell Construction Services Ltd, Brock Carmichael Associates and Davis Langdon LLP.  The project was part-funded by ERDF (Objective One).
