Plan your visit around our Sunday worship

We are first and foremost a place of worship and daily services are important to us. This is particularly true if you visit on a Sunday

To enable us to offer our regular congregations the finest worship we are unable to receive group visitors on a Sunday between 8am and 12 noon. Visitors are more than welcome to join us for our Sunday worship but otherwise we advise you to avoid coming to our cathedral on a Sunday morning. We will be delighted to welcome groups and visitors.in the afternoon when you will get the best possible visit. We thank you for your cooperation.

The Lady Chapel on a Sunday
We are delighted that the presence of our Sepas congregation and the strength of other worship services means that the Lady Chapel is used for most of a Sunday. If you wish to see the beautiful chapel then you may wish to visit on a different day.

Will your visit be affected?
To find out if your visit is affected then go to our worship pages

New for 2016

We have two exciting initiatives for 2016:

Great Scott

Experience our Cathedral in the company of our architect as we dramatically tell the story of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Through entertaining storytelling and plenty of fun for your group, our actor will guide you through our Cathedral. Our hour-long Great Scott tour will tell of how, at 22, Sir Giles won the competition to build Britain's largest cathedral, plus tales of his friends, the workers, and clashes with others; and of course we have that famous red telephone box.

Contact Jenny Moran to book your group on our Great Scott Tour.

Free lunchtime concerts

Singing under our Dulverton Bridge is a great musical experience for touring musicians. If you are organising a tour and would like to sing as part of our series of lunchtime concerts, then do please get in contact.

Contact Jenny Moran to talk about performing at one of our free lunchtime concerts.

Make sure your group is refreshed

Why not add an extra special treat with some refreshments to finish off your group tour. Talk to us about catering deals that suit your budget.

'Faster, Easier, and Friendlier' - The Liverpool 2016 Travel Trade Brochure
