See the City from the top of the Cathedral tower - an amazing view, see across the Mersey as far as Blackpool tower on a clear day!  Then travel down the tower and stop to look at the Elizabeth Hoare Embroidery Gallery.  The hidden gem of the Catherdal, this gallery presents a lifetime of ecclesiastical embroideries, and offers a unique view of the Cathedral and the great West Window.

When you arrive back at the bottom of the tower, continue your journey of discovery by watching a ten minute panoramic film in the Cathedral theatre, it gives you a brief history of the building of the Cathedral and then a bang up to date fly through the Cathedral and the city.   

Finish your journey with our entertaining 'Great Space' audio tour - available in both adult and child versions, and in French, German, Spanish, Polish, Italian, Mandarin Chinese and Japanese.  With words and music it takes you around the Cathedral, telling you the great story of the Cathedral from the laying of the foundation stone in 1904 to the completion in 1978 as well as stopping at interactive exhibitions.  This whole experience will make you relive the story that is Liverpool Cathedral.
