Dream

DREAM is a church network who are on a spiritual journey towards Jesus. We welcome anyone who wants to travel with us.

Dream groups seek to be:
1. Christ-centred – We’re seeking to develop a spirituality centred on Jesus Christ and lives that are formed by following him.

2. Open – We aim to be welcoming and include anyone who wants to join us in seeking Christ and exploring spirituality. We believe that everyone brings something unique and valuable to our community.

3. Relational – We are committed to building communities, rather than simply putting on events. This happens through sharing ownership and encouraging honest support of one other in our daily lives. At times community also includes conflict and struggle - we want to embrace this and rediscover together what it means to be Christ’s body.

4. Experimental – We want to ‘re-imagine church’. That needs creativity and experimentation in exploring a wide range of approaches to prayer and worship. So we’re happy to risk getting things wrong as part of our journey of discovering Jesus.

Church of Scotland

The Church of Scotland meets in the Radcliffe Rooms (Radcliffe Learning Centre) in the Main Cathedral every Sunday at 10.30am and it is the only congregation of the Church of Scotland in the North-West of England!

"We are home to a community of worshippers in the Presbyterian tradition who gather regularly from around the Merseyside area to unite in worship and fellowship. Though our roots are Scottish, we are not just for Scots. We invite you warmly to share in the joy of Christian worship in the heart of Liverpool".      (Dr John Henderson)
