Private Prayer at the Lady Chapel

Lady Chapel
15th July 2020 11:00 - 15:00

We’re looking forward to welcoming you back to Liverpool Cathedral for private individual prayer in our Lady Chapel. You’ll be able to book a time for quiet reflection between 11 am to 3 pm

Welcome back to Liverpool Cathedral for individual prayer, the first phase of our reopening. You'll notice we have made a number of changes to our operations to keep you and our people safe. We have done this in line with current advice around hygiene and social distancing. Please be patient, kind and responsible.

A Safe Visit

If you’re feeling unwell, in a high-risk category, self-isolating or if you or anyone you’ve been in contact with has symptoms of coronavirus, please visit another time. We’ll look forward to welcoming you soon but right now, it’s not worth the risk to the health of other visitors or our people. Thank you for your understanding.

Book Your Place

Book your place for individual private prayer on our Eventbrite page. Booking your place in advance helps us to work out the number of people who will be visiting us so we can make sure we maintain the appropriate level of social distancing and keep the correct number of people in the building. Book your place here

Please Don’t Touch

While we’ll be cleaning much more regularly than normal, if you could try to avoid touching surfaces as much as possible it will help reduce the spread of coronavirus.

Keeping Your Hands Clean

You’ll be able to sanitise your hands on the way into the Lady Chapel. You’ll see the places where you can sanitise your hands clearly signposted.

Digital Giving

You may know that handling cash can increase the risk of coronavirus spreading so we’re encouraging our congregation to give digitally. If you’d like to consider giving online instead of cash or envelopes on the collection plate, you can find out more here.

Keep Apart

Please keep your distance from our people and other worshippers. We’re operating a one-way system with signs in place to make sure you can easily find your way around the Cathedral.

Prayer for Liverpool

If you’re not able to visit us in person or need to ask for prayer out of hours, you can do this via our Prayer for Liverpool website which has been set up especially with this in mind.
