Clergy and leaders from across the Diocese of Liverpool gather together in the holiest week of the Christian year to renew commitments and pledge service to God.
On the Monday of Holy Week is the annual Diocesan Chrism Eucharist service. It's a chance for all stipendiary clergy across the Diocese of Liverpool to gather in the holiest week of the Christian year to renew commitments and pledge service to God. As in previous years, Bishop Paul encourages all Readers, Self-Supporting Ministers and Local Missional Leaders who can to attend this service.
The service also includes an opportunity for the blessing of the oils that will be used for the sacramental ministry in the life of a parish. The ministry of healing is offered to congregation members.
This quiet, reflective service of Holy Communion uses the Church of England’s Common Worship.
