04th April 2020 11:30 - 12:15

Fun, interactive music, fostering musical curiosity, exploration and socialisation through musical activities featuring musicians and children intermingled in one space.

We’re sure you’ll understand that as a place of encounter, we want Liverpool Cathedral to be a safe place for our visitors, worshippers, staff and volunteers. So in light of the Government guidance and after careful consideration, we're cancelling this concert. We're really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

We look forward to welcoming you in the not too distant future.

Music in Unison (MiU) and Teeny Maestros return for more 'Take it to the floor'  concert series. These are about getting 'up close' and being immersed in musical activities. Created for babies and young children the concert happens on the floor, with our little spectators being able to get up close to see, hear and feel the musical action. A group of professional musicians will be performing favourite animated classics to entertain and inspire our mini musicians.

There will be an opportunity for the children to participate and be a part of the action too by having percussion instruments.

Tickets: Child - £15, Adult - £6

Tickets can be purchased here

Music in Unison was founded by Tara Delve after the birth of her daughter Isla. Tara quickly realised that although there were many baby music classes available, there were none that provided a live music educational experience. Music in Unison was established in 2017 and is dedicated to delivering high-quality early years music education. Their sessions feature only live music and are delivered by highly qualified educators and professional musicians. All sessions have limited numbers of participants focusing on quality rather than quantity. Nominated for numerous awards, Music in Unison is confident that it can nurture your child’s musical talent.
