The new WW1 Nurses exhibition in Liverpool Cathedral tells the story of the part that the nursing associations played in WW1 both here and abroad.
Auditions for this exciting new choir will be held on Saturday 12th September after our 3pm Evensong. If you are aged between 14 and 25 and can read music and play an instrument then come along and give it a go.
A record number of participants ensured this year’s abseil has been the best yet.

On Monday The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Revd Justin Welby and his wife Caroline returned to the cathedral to open a new Food store for Hope+ Foodbank.
Legendary Merseyside comedian Ken Dodd has been honoured with a brick added to the People’s Path at Liverpool Cathedral. Ken who was born in the Knotty Ash area of the city, is a local icon who nationally proudly celebrates his Liverpool roots.

As we approach the centenary of our consecration in 1924, we have an opportunity to stand on the shoulders of the giants who built this great Cathedral.
We said goodbye to our Curate Tim and his family on Sunday as he presided and preached at his final service. We send them with our prayers an blessings to Hove. Before he goes he spoke to us about his time here.
