This week’s News from Liverpool Cathedral – a Place of Encounter

Catch up on the latest news from Liverpool Cathedral for Sunday, 15th May 2022
A very warm welcome to this e-news on this the fifth Sunday of Easter. Today in the Gospel we are encouraged to Love One Another. That can be a challenge at times but I wonder what type of world we would have if we did Love one another as Jesus has loved us.
There are a number of ways to show practical love in our Cathedral. They include supporting Micah our Justice Charity and our Prayer Shawl Ministry. Both of these activities bring relief to people in need and show our love for one another.
Risen Lord,
you gave a new commandment
to love one another.
Fill our hearts with your love
and empower us to share your love with others,
that all may know us to be your disciples;
for you are our God.
Amen.
Join us in person for 8:30am Morning Prayer and the 12:05 pm Eucharist on weekdays and Saturdays (Livestream at 8:30 on Sundays), and Evensong/Evening Prayer at 5:30pm on weekdays and 3pm on Saturdays.
